Want Us At An Event?

Howe Volunteer Fire Department is dedicated to community involvement.  We host events such as Touch a Truck in Gunter, Fire Awareness events, and Car Shows.  If you would like to request us to attend an event, please send us a message via the "Make A Difference" tab.

HVFD is 100% Volunteer.  Our members do not receive any reimburesment or pay for their time and effort.  They are strictly driving by their need to serve their community while maintaining full time jobs and/or school.  Our Volunteers adhere to the Federal and State training requirements needed to continue volunteering. Approximately 68% of Fire Departments across the United States are Volunteer.
